As Columbia celebrates its 300th Anniversary (1726–2026) alongside America’s 250th Anniversary, our historic river town is preparing for a weekend filled with pride, community spirit, and celebration.
Families, friends, and visitors are encouraged to gather throughout the borough to enjoy the festivities, honor our rich history, and celebrate the generations that helped shape Columbia into the community we know today.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone, additional police officers will be on patrol throughout the event areas and around town. Their presence is intended to help residents and visitors celebrate safely while protecting people, property, and our historic neighborhoods.

For the safety of all attendees, no fireworks may be discharged near buildings, homes, businesses, vehicles, or on public property. Please use good judgment and follow all applicable laws and safety guidelines. Unauthorized fireworks in restricted areas may result in enforcement action.
