Inside, officers located the victim, suffering from lacerations to his hands, head, and face, injuries which required emergency medical treatment.

According to statements documented in the affidavits, three individuals—identified as Henry Reyes, Aliyah Mara Stoppi, and Camden Matthews Ransing—entered the home along with a younger unidentified male. Witnesses reported that firearms were displayed during the intrusion and that the victim was struck multiple times in the head and face with small chrome‑colored handguns.

A witness, who was present in the apartment, told police that the group forced their way into a second‑floor bedroom where she and the victim were located.
