Yesterday, our town was shaken.
A devastating fire tore through homes right here in Columbia Borough, leaving multiple families displaced and facing the unimaginable.
One of those families is people I know personally—and I can tell you from the heart, they are the kind of people who would show up for anyone in this community. They didn’t deserve this.
In a matter of moments, everything they built was gone.
Not just walls and furniture… but memories. Photos. Keepsakes. The little things that make a house a home. Like so many families after a fire, they’re now starting over with almost nothing, trying to figure out where to go and how to rebuild their lives.
Right now, they need us.
